Schwadie & Blue a story made for children with autism

Once a upon a time

There was a little girl named Blue

Blue was a sweet, smart, little girl but blue also was very quiet

Blue was a diverse learner she enjoyed going to school most of the time. Blue was in a class with other diverse learners like her but as you know every child is unique and learns  things in their own way, information enters the brain differently for everyone.

Well anyhow;  blue would be in class,

the teacher would have video time but blue couldn’t take the sound. Everyday without fail when the video would play blue would cry and run out the classroom. While her classmates watch the video and learned blue sat in the hallway with a teacher aid feeling very sad until the sound ended and she could go back to class.

One special day there  was a new student in blues class.  A sweet creative little girl with curly hair named Schwadie

Schwadie watched blue for a few days run out the class and she really wanted  to be friends with blue but didn’t know how to start up a conversation with her.

So the next day when video time rolled around and blue ran out crying Schwadie asked the teacher could she go out and sit with blue. Teacher brown said sure. So Schwadie   grabbed a baby doll,  her computer and sone headphones and ran out in the hallway to catch up with blue

Hi blue I’m Schwadie  can I sit with you?

Blue  looked up with a smile and said yes!

Schwadie  played with blue with the doll,  they listened to music on the computer and sang songs they liked.

If it was a song or sound blue didn’t like Schwadie  showed blue how to use headphones

See watch blue, Schwadie  said you can put these headphones on if you don’t want to hear the sound outside. The two girls sat there enjoying being friends and soon video time was over and Blue felt safe to go back to class.  Schwadie said come along blue let’s head back!

Blue stopped to  hug Schwadie and said  I have a friend!

School sometimes May  be a bit difficult for a diverse learner like Blue at times but learning is easier when you have a friend.
